MISSION STATEMENT
Bloom Circus Collective is an Aerial, Circus, & Movement studio dedicated to cultivating artistry and community through dynamic and inclusive programs. Our mission is to create a nurturing space where individuals can explore and master the circus arts while fostering connections and growth.
Our Story
Bloom Circus Collective embarked on its journey in 2025 when one door closed, paving the way for another filled with opportunities and creativity. Founded out of a desire to provide a supportive home for a dedicated community of movers, artists, and creative thinkers, owners Matt Armenta and Summer Sparrow transformed their lifelong aspirations and previously set-aside dreams into reality.

Matt Armenta
Co-Owner/ Founder/ Coach
With over 16 years immersed in the circus and aerial arts, Matt has transformed from a hesitant high school student into a dedicated performer and coach. Initially introduced to circus classes as an alternative to traditional P.E., Matt found the discipline challenging and stepped away. However, upon returning, he discovered a profound passion that led to four years of intensive training. At just 19, Matt became the head coach of his school's circus program, marking the beginning of a dynamic coaching career. By 20, he was performing and instructing at the Redlands YMCA, mastering and teaching disciplines such as Hammock, Silks, Handbalancing, Hanging Perch, Swinging Trapeze, and Acro. His talent propelled him into professional performances at prestigious events, including TV show wrap parties, celebrity Halloween gatherings, and hotel openings. In 2021, Matt took the helm of the aerial program at Firestorm Galaxy in Moreno Valley, where he cultivated a vibrant community through recitals and classes for all ages. Today, Matt is a proud co-owner of Bloom Circus Collective. As a coach and business owner, Matt is passionate about inspiring others to embrace the circus arts, believing that with dedication and heart, anyone can soar.

Summer Sparrow
Co-Owner/ Founder/ Coach
Summer’s circus journey began with a Groupon and a leap of faith—literally. At 18, she took her first Pole class and never looked back, officially “running away with the circus.” But her love of movement and performance started long before that. As a kid, she was always on the move—diving into gymnastics, rock climbing, softball, singing, acting, archery, and just about anything that sparked curiosity and creativity.Today, Summer is a multi-disciplinary artist who specializes in Aerial Silks, Lyra, Pole, Aerial Cube, Fire Spinning, Flow Arts, Burlesque, and Flexibility. Her passion for expressive movement and dynamic storytelling comes through in every performance and class. Whether she’s spinning in the air or dancing with fire, Summer is dedicated to helping others find empowerment, joy, and community through the circus arts.

Katie Thompson
Coach
With over a decade of experience in acrobatic activities, Katie began her journey in gymnastics at the age of four and continued for seven years before joining Firestorm Galaxy on its opening day in 2019. By the age of 14, she was assisting with coaching camps and special events, and has since coached trampoline, tumbling, gymnastics, and parkour. Her specialty is trampoline, where she focuses on developing strong technique, body control, and aerial awareness. Katie has competed in parkour at the national level and is currently a second-year kinesiology student at Cal State San Bernardino, pursuing a career in physical therapy. As a coach, she is passionate about helping students grow, reach their full physical potential, and experience the same joy and progress that inspired her own journey.

Bailey
Coach
From the ages of 2 through 20, Bailey had dedicated his life to the sport of soccer. Then, after a life-devastating injury, he discovered the world of acrobatics, and what had begun as rehabilitation for himself had quickly changed into passion. Having only 2 years of experience as an acrobatic athlete and 1 year of coaching experience at Firestorm Galaxy, he now strives to show the world and his students that no matter where you came from or when you're starting, even the most “impossible” goals can be achieved through not only dedication but finding enjoyment out of the journey. Bailey specializes in tumbling, trampoline, aerial silks and taekwondo but finds his greatest fulfillment in being that inspiration of hope he can provide his students with. And with a foundation rooted in discipline and adaptability, he hopes to teach expressiveness and balance and build aerial awareness, creative movement, and confidence. Bailey also has a passion for kinesiology and a focus in medicine, and is pursuing a career as an orthopedic pediatrician, hoping to carry over the same inspiration and support he once needed as a young athlete into his professional career.
